Hey, I'm Imogene.

Before my Bay Area academics, I'm a born and raised Los Angeleno. Tragically, my teenage years were spent ogling at dateline billboards, lost in BuzzFeed and then Pinterest, which brings me to you now as a Gen-Z in marketing!

why is "gen z" relevant here (+tragically infers something undesirable ab gen z in marketing)

Early in college, I took a profound interest in how cultural exposure and messaging in television and media can inform our conjecture of the human experience. Modern identity is so prescriptive and still feels profoundly esoteric... I'd go as far to say "propaganda for the soul".

^^purpose for saying this being...

20 years old and archiving phrases like that one, I worked extensively in scriptwriting, wrote copy and freelanced in audience/social media management (with way more success in than I felt was plausible when interpreting abstract creative vision). Becoming formatively acquainted with my career in those spaces, I was able to parse my initial investment in the curation of individuality for the creative impulses that facilitated it...

I have an almost visceral adeptness for communicating value. sharpen brand to communicate value, orchestrate creative clarity, and interpret my audience's desire. Identity with the distinction of clarity is brand, even better, it's culture and best: community.

Everything

A true college kid, I saw everything as an entrepreneurial venture and unleashed my time in undergrad dabbling in every small business.

As writer and artist, I have an inconceivable affinity for what feels and reads as true.

influencer economy, exposure is currency -- the commodification of exposure though, makes sense to me. Luck, vitality, blowing up is nothing except exposure + timing, provided a product is of course aesthetically intact., //I'm just short of a "digital native", but

I journal in Obsidian and hand-bound recycled paper; whatever the startup or brand launch, I'm your San Franciscan.

One other thing, I hope my ellipses haven't annoyed you too much... I promise to love and cherish your every AI tool, but an m-dash in this city borders on defamation.

I'm sure you understand 😓
